Liz Roff

Liz Roff is an interdisciplinary artist and printmaker born and raised in New York. Roff’s work span’s sculpture, 3D installation, printmaking, and image-based processes. Her practice is driven by questioning the embodiement of memory and identity through objects and imagery. Through challenging interwoven forms, Liz explores the site of connection between herself and nature. Incorporating vulnerability and personal experiences, Liz seeks to approach the complicated layers of the self in a tactile work. Her practice aims to facilitate processing and feeling into making and creating.

Liz is currently in her senior year of the BFA Fine Arts program at Parsons School of Design. Her work has been showcased at Parrish Art Museum, as well as several Parsons- affiliated exhibitions and collectives like Janes Studios, Art Groove, and the A.I.R. Gallery. As an emerging artist, she seeks to create an immersive and emotionally resonant experience for her viewers regarding presence and perception through the piece.
